Our images get used in all sorts of stuff: corporate brochures, annual reports, product catalogues, adverts, billboards, packaging. Which is all very well and good but what does this have to do with you. Well this means that we have the know how to deliver the right type of images to you, your art department or design company, giving you one less thing to worry about. Whether you want the images in jpeg, Tiff, PSD, or any other of the myriad of file types that are used, we can deliver. Equally perhaps you need the images sent in a particular colour space, and if you have the ICC Profile that isn’t a problem either.
We have two studios, one dedicated to product photography and the other for fashion and lifestyle shoots. The courtyard just outside provides an excellent backdrop if you’re looking for that urban feel. We also spend a great deal of time on location which takes masses of planning to make sure all the right people, equipment and products are all in the right place at the right time. Good job we have someone on the team who spent years doing just that for one of the largest corporations on the planet.

Well there is Frank, Paul, Liz and Sue, (but call her Susan if you want to be in her good books). We all live in the big fire station in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, which is very exciting. Unfortunately the fire trucks are long gone and they made us take down the sliding pole after the slippery soap incident, but that’s another story.
We do have a serious side though, no really we do. In fact, we have a CRM system that has pipeline workflows, job spec forms, integrated accounts systems, and reminder beeps that sound like submarines, which we think is really cool.
Which all means we can also deliver your projects on time and on budget and put a big wow style smile on your accountants face too!

From a very early age Paul had absolutely no idea what he wanted to do with his life. He had plenty of success in his early years including achieving his 25 metre swimming badge and learning how to survive in the Southern Ocean with just a pair of pyjama bottoms. After these dizzying heights he struggled with the monotony of everyday life before one day he discovered, quite by accident, the magic of the image.
From that moment Paul's life was transformed; birds burst into song, squirrels appeared bearing nuts, butterflies fluttered by to say hello (which was quite freaky) and people started smiling at him in the street (just plain weird). Paul assisted other photographers for many years before setting up Painter Creative in 2004 and has been having a ball ever since. Whether it’s standing in an oily greasy factory making it look space age, or photographing beautiful people for a fashion magazine, Paul thinks it really is one of the best jobs in the world and it's that passion he brings to you.

Where do we begin with Frank? Well for starters he spent years in senior management of a global chemicals company figuring out systems and management structures and spent more time in hotel rooms around the globe than was really good for him. Since those high flying days he has become an integral member of the Painter Creative team and apart from being a damn fine photographer he makes sure that we are the most organised photographic company on the planet!!
He is currently working on our ISO 9002 accreditation (I told you he was organised), a colour management system, we know that’s important to a few of you out there and restoring his beautiful TVR – everybody has a mad side.
Whatever you do though don’t mention Boney M. it brings him out in a cold sweat….

Our environmental policy is simply to do our best to minimise our energy usage, reuse and recycle as much waste as we can, and come up with new and intelligent ways to leave a smaller footprint on the Earth.
We’re not perfect, but in our own way we want to make a difference and hopefully inspire others to look after the planet for future generations to enjoy.
Some of the things we do:
Recycle paper, cardboard, glass and plastic
Use energy-saving light bulbs
Switch off unused lights and electronic equipment
Use rechargeable batteries
Do without air conditioning – if our studio gets too hot we head outdoors
Keep plants in our office to absorb pollutants
Support charities that do practical work for environmental causes
